Engineering Mindset & Background

I approach software from the database out. My core focus is on building solid relational architectures (MySQL 3NF), ACID-compliant transactional flows, and performant backend services in PHP and Laravel. I care deeply about data integrity, query optimization, and structuring business logic cleanly so software remains dependable and maintainable as requirements evolve.

> The Problem

Academic departments struggled with paper register proxy signing, lost attendance sheets, and tedious end-of-semester manual calculations to determine exam eligibility for hundreds of students.

> What I Built

  • Architected a normalized MySQL (3NF) schema managing departments, courses, student enrollments, and timestamped attendance sessions.
  • Implemented role-based authentication separating Lecturer, Department Admin, and Student portals with strict session validation.
  • Engineered an automated attendance percentage computation engine with dynamic eligibility thresholds for exam clearance.
  • Built instant report generation exporting course-level attendance statistics to PDF and CSV formats for departmental audits.

QR-based dining operations platform with multi-role staff dashboards and live order state tracking.

> The Problem

Dine-in restaurants face high menu printing costs, order miscommunications during peak hours, and delayed table turnarounds when relying on manual waiter note-taking.

> What I Built

  • Engineered table-specific QR session management routing guest orders directly into kitchen queues without app installation.
  • Created state-driven role dashboards (Waitstaff, Kitchen, Cashier, Manager) tracking orders through Pending, Preparing, Ready, and Settled lifecycles.
  • Built a table reservation system handling booking constraints, guest counts, and status notifications.
  • Designed secure cart validation preventing client-side price tampering and handling modifiers/allergies.

Client-side resume generation engine engineered for ATS-friendly layout parsing and privacy.

> The Problem

Job seekers lose interview opportunities due to multi-column resume formatting errors that break automated Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), coupled with privacy concerns over cloud storage of personal data.

> What I Built

  • Developed a client-side state manager storing sections, chronology, and skill matrices purely in LocalStorage with zero server data retention.
  • Engineered a reactive two-way binding preview synchronizing edits in real-time with zero input latency.
  • Built ATS-compliant print styles enforcing single-column parse hierarchy, standard headers, and high-contrast typography.
  • Packaged as an offline-first Progressive Web App (PWA) with Service Worker asset caching for field editing.
